Q: How do I learn more about how to use the library's resources effectively?

A: Attend one of the Access Your Virtual Library workshops

Q: How do I access the library's resources remotely?

A: Log in to the library with your UTHSC NetID and password combination to access the library's resources remotely. 

Q: How do I get an electronic copy of an article that is in the library's print collection?

A: Upon request the library will scan and PDF the article to you. This service is free to all UTHSC affiliates. You will need to log in the library with your NetID and password to complete the request form

Q: How do I get an article the library doesn't have access to? 

A: You may request the article via InterLibrary Loan (ILL) and the library will get it for you from other libraries that have the article. This service is free to all UTHSC affiliates.

Q: How do I request a literature search?

A: This service is for faculty, staff, and residents. Fill out this Expert Literature Search Request Form. A librarian will contact you and conduct the search for you. If you are a student, you may request assistance with your search strategy and how to search by emailing the Library.

Q: How do I recommend that a journal title or other resource be added to the library collection? 

A: You can use the Collection Suggestion Form to send your recommendation to the library. You will need to sign in with your NetID and password to submit the form. Once the resource is added to the library collection you will receive an email.
