Your UTHSC NetID and password is the key to remote access the library's resources. If you have been unsuccessful connecting to library resources, please review the following troubleshooting suggestions. If you have reviewed this page and are still having issues, please Ask a Librarian for assistance.
- Verify your status with UTHSC. You must be a current UTHSC faculty, staff, and student to gain remote access to the library resources. You can search the campus directory to verify your status, which has to be "Active," Member or sponsored NetIDs are not eligible for off-campus access.
- Ensure your NetID password is current. If your NetID password is less than 12 characters in length, it must be changed every 6 months. If you fail to do so your access to the resources will be blocked. If your password has expired, please change or reset your password. If you have forgotten your NetID password, please call (901) 448-2222 for assistance.
- Ensure DUO is enabled on your account. This is a requirement for all UTHSC affiliates. See the DUO frequently asked questions page for known issues and troubleshooting.
