EBP Module

EBP Module: Introduction
During this module we will review the concept of evidence-based practice, discuss why it is important to health care, and introduce the process of EBP.

EBP Module: Ask
In this module, you will be able to distinguish between background and foreground questions and construct a searchable clinical question using PICO.

EBP Module: Aquire
During this module we will review how to build a search strategy from our clinical question. Also, we will navigate the types of evidence we can acquire and where to find them.

EMP Module: Appraise
During this module we will review the concept of appraisal. We will review three basic questions to help you in the appraisal of scientific literature: 1) are the methods of the study valid? 2) what are the results? 3) will the results help in caring for my patient?

EBP Module: Apply & Assess
This module will provide you with an overview of applying your findings to patient interactions and also things to consider when assessing your success as you navigated through the EBP process.
