Direct Export with EndNote

How to directly export references from PubMed/MEDLINE:

  1. Search PubMed/MEDLINE
  2. Select the references you would like to save
  3. Click on the Send To menu next to the UT Links box.
  4. Choose 'Citation Manager' as the destination
  5. Click Create File
  6. The references will be automatically added to your EndNote Library

 

How to directly export references in the NEW PubMed/MEDLINE interface:

  1. Search PubMed/MEDLINE
  2. Select the references you would like to save
  3. Click on the Send To button next to Save and Email
  4. Choose 'Citation Manager' as the destination
  5. Click Create File
  6. The references will be automatically added to your EndNote Library

Manually Import References for Mac Users

Sometimes when direct export references from PubMed doesn't work or you use another web browser that doesn't support direct export references (e.g., Mac computers) from PubMed, manually import references should work well.
